It is night, it is dark, as far as I can see.
There were days when my thoughts were everywhere, slowly spinning in my head, only to be stolen by time and fall captive to events. The first accord born in this fragrance was between Cade oil, Carrot Seeds, a smoky Incense, Cashmeran, and Suederal. There, the courage to change the course of my thoughts, their existence, my life, was born. In those days, when this fragrance was coming to life, I read books on Shintoism and listened to Nils Frahm. I weighed each raw material as if they were necessary and fundamental words, like when you search for the right words to tell something important about your life to someone; it was my story, my journey, in the dark. Smoky and dusty notes open the life of this fragrance, an incense that encompasses centuries of stories, deep, mysterious, and intimate, the dust of Carrot Seeds and the dark note of Cade. A dark heart, where the darkest part of Osmanthus and Peony find refuge among the notes of Geranium and Magnolia, protected by Labdanum absolute and Amber notes. The base on which this story I have told you rests is built on notes of Vetiver, Patchouli, Cedarwood, and Sandalwood, Musk, and Leather.
There, I think I've said it all.
"It is night, it is dark, and our mind wanders among vagrant thoughts.
Buio tells of the moments when we search within ourselves for a light.
Buio is a place where we live our feelings.
Buio is the time of insomnia, where giant monsters will be revealed in the daylight as small beings.
Buio is a hope, mine, to let the darkness leave me.
It is night, it is dark, as far as I can see."
[Buio was conceived, created, and arranged, listening to the albums Empty by Nils Frahm and Ende Neu by Einsturzende Neubauten at each stage]
